1. Information we collect

When you register we collect your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash). You may optionally add a phone number, university, profile photo and short biography. We also store the listings you publish, images you upload, messages you send, saved listings and reports you submit.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account, verify your student email and secure the marketplace.
• To display your seller profile and listings to other students.
• To deliver in-app messages between buyers and sellers.
• To investigate reports and enforce our terms of service.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not process payments, and we never ask for your banking password or one-time passwords.

4. Storage and retention

Data is stored on our servers for as long as your account is active. Uploaded images are stored on the application's storage disk. Administrators may remove listings or deactivate accounts that breach our rules.

5. Your rights

You can update your profile details at any time from the profile settings page. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact the marketplace team.
